there is nothing really objectionable about this series in the least. there is some rare mild swearing and a moment or two but again, very very mild.

My Review: Once again I am reviewing a series that literally has captured my heart. Not only is it beautiful in art style and content, but its laugh out loud funny. Its not another mahou shojo nor a dn angel. Its a really cute butterfly feel good series. Though the concept isn't quite original, the story is still a lot of fun. The one thing I really noticed about this series is that it doesn't spend a lot of time on the exposition. Its leaves you to contemplate for yourself as you read and doesn't explain anything until the climax at the end. In any series this can be good or bad. To do this correctly it has to give you enough so that you'll keep reading. Luckily, Kamichama has a lot of qualities that make it worth the read.

For one thing, its hilarious. Just when its about to get kinda mushy or teary (and believe me it does. in a good way) one of the characters pops in as a chibi and says something ridiculous. It also helps that Karin is a little reactive and Kazune just can't help pushing her buttons. And also who can't forget the Brit who needs a lesson in proper etiquette of other cultures. Its definitely

packed full of fun. It certainly made me laugh.

Above everything else though, this series is adorably beautiful. Okay so the romance factor might not seem very strong at first but it definitely adds to the series' appeal. Its incredibly cute and you just can't help but go "aww". (I know. I'm such a girl) The art style seemed kinda wispy to me at first but either my opinion of it improved or the artist did because by the end I was in love with it. It definitely gives that "divine" quality the series calls for.

So, all this being said, I can conclude that I did not waste my time with this series. I found it just by freak chance and ended up really really liking it. Its cute but not overbearingly so. Its a well balanced series and really enjoyable.

okay so the characters are grown up so you know what that means....boobs! yeah. lots of revealing stuff in this one. including nudity and some disturbing circumstances.

My Review:Our little girls are all grown up, and so is the series. While I feel I could safely classify A's as simply a continuation of the original, Strikers definitely has that sequel factor. After all, we know Nanoha and Fate as the little kickass magical girls with style bigger than life. and quite frankly the fact that they were young gave MGLN some of its charm. So, now that they are all grown up the series can give a person mixed feelings. At times I found myself wondering who this Nanoha was. Was she the same little girl I knew from before. It can be a little heartbreaking to see your characters older but all you can do is hang on and try to accept them for what they are now even though you are so missing those little pigtails.

For starters, the series, taking place ten years after A's, throws you without much warning. Different setting, different situation, different politics. Yeah. It gets quite confusing so it can feel like you're expected to know who all these people are and what's going on right away. Also during the series you can tell that the only reason this character asked this question was for the viewers own benefit. While the first two give a lot in a little package, the strikers package is poorly wrapped and quite frankly spewing out the edges.

Another factor about this series is that it has a serious case of TMCS. (too many characters syndrome) There are so many characters, a lot of who you feel you're expected to know, and they all have to have their moment in the plot. So sometimes you find yourself asking 'wait who is that guy again?' also the constant switch between locations where each character is doing their own thing can get a little tiresome.

On the other hand, there is actually a reason this series gets 3 1/2 stars. The plot is really clever. As the saga progressed it got closer and closer to sci-fi until this series reached the peak. Becoming a politically involved battle against bio-technological revolutionists and the Magical system of government support......it gave me a wonderful headache. Genius! and a bit freaky at times. Okay we've always had magic and technology but add in artificial human genetics and other means of inhumane acts and you've got one surprising freak show which luckily makes a lot more sense than this attempt of a review. oy. but again this series expects a little too much of its audience at times.

Being full of action, strikers gives plenty of wow and boom. Of course we'd expect nothing less. Also I have to admit though this series was quite heart wrenching and emotional at times. But then that leads to the most important point I must make about strikers. Though it does take a while to get into things and the leading eps may feel awkward and dragging, the last episodes make it all worth while. Even if them being older is a total turnoff, even if you are really confused and overloaded. Stick with it long enough to watch the last episodes. They are amazing.

And so that's my review for Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Strikers. It was difficult to put into words but this is the best conclusion of the series I could come to. And I think it works.

considering the greater amount of boom in this series its rated higher than its predecessor because there is more blood. also there is still some partial nudity. but again this series is not all that bad.

My Review: Just as the first series felt like a first installment this sequel is able to kick into a whole other adventure. Its like they split a 26 episode series into two; the first 13 being the set up, and the last 13, occurring 6 months later, is when things really start happening.

The first had strong points, but A's brings the saga up a notch. The title of the first episode says it all 'a very sudden beginning'. haha, very funny. Being only 13 eps causes some people to see the two anime as rushed in their plot line, I actually like this because then it doesn't leave time for filler conversations. This being said, it makes sense that A's doesnt waste any time and brings an explosive battle the very first episode. And isn't that the best part of this series?

There is a complete upgrade in the action of the series as well. Combining technology with the magical girl stereotype opens up so many doors and possibilities not only for the battles but for the plot as well. The Characters are no longer newbies and so we see a lot more strategy and this makes the visual even more incredible. You gotta give the animators props on this one. They did an awesome job. cause here comes the boom. -_-'

The story is actually really good. I've mentioned in my earlier reviews how I'm one who can have a plot figured out rather quickly. That makes me all the more impressed that a series like A's actually surprised me. I think its because Nanoha and A's stray from the norm a little. Its a short, mahou shoujo with plot qualitites of a bigger action series. Thats how more than once I was quite shocked by what was actually happening. A series is all the more enjoyable when it gives you the unexpected.

In conclusion, A's is an awesome sequel. With qualities bigger than itself, it brings a lot more to the table than the viewer would suspect; and that's what makes this series incredible.

In order to help Yuuno complete his mission, she needs to seal all 21 Jewel Seeds away, but Fate may be playing a hand in the matter to prevent Nanoha's goals."

This series has not that much bad in it. There is a bit of partial nudity but there is no swearing and only a bit of blood. other than that, its a-okay.

My Review: "Magical Girl on steroids". That's a pretty good description. You usually see a magical girl series and automatically think "bah. just another shojo." Well there are quite a few things that set this series apart from the general stereotype of Magical Girl aka Mahou Shojo.

For one, the characters are not the regular age. Instead of being pre-teen to teenagers, Nanoha is only in 3rd grade. One may wonder how watching an eight year old could be any good, but I personally prefer it. Nanoha's innocence is actually quite refreshing. When you have teen characters there can't help but be drama and potential emo situations. Nanoha on the other hand seems surprisingly sure of herself. She doesn't let other things compromise her ideals. And here we find a kind of innocent wisdom about the series.

This brings on another good difference about the series. When the main character is unfazed and has less to contemplate about what do you get?.....Less talking more action. YES! While it wouldn't be anime without the dialogue in the middle of a battle, they don't linger and hence you get more boom factor. I'm serious about the boom. "Steroids?" you ask. Let's just say that I nearly had to turn my volume down during some of the battles. These little magic kids may be short and cute, but they can kick more ass in one episode than Naruto ever could in seven.

The fact that its not all magic but also technology is also something unique to MGL Nanoha. The series actually involves time and space. The Magical Wands are actually intelligence devices kinda like a computer. Its different but really cool. Kinda like a cross between magical girl and gundam.

I found this series quite enjoyable. It maintains a cute theme while still kickin some butt starting around episode 4. Its only 13 eps long but it leaves me wanting to watch the rest of the saga. And that's pretty good in my book.

Comparison: there's really nothing to really compare considering this series has no corresponding manga series. But I will give the info just the same.

Sample Vid: there are really awesome amv's for the two sequel series and those are what got me watching but what would i use for this review. so i found a pretty good MAD. the song is a bit odd at first but believe me it grows on you. there are only spoilers at the end when they show clips from the last two eps. so if you dont want to have the ending given away only watch to 3:05.

in my opinion there really isn't anything objectionable in it. though I doubt its content could be understood by just anyone. also there is some swearing and partial nudity but barley any of the latter and its not bad.

Review: I'll just say it out strait; this anime is a work of art. It's truly beautiful. Just the thought of a ballet-themed anime sounded interesting to me, but it is so so much more than that. Yes the ballet part is exquisite. There are actual songs from different ballets in the soundtrack which give a very magical atmosphere. Also, if you look closely you can see references in everything, from the specific dances, to when the characters are fighting in ballet positions. It adds to the beauty and intensity of all the dramatic scenes. But, as I said, while ballet is a primary and outstanding theme in the series, it is not the only thing that gives it its magic.

The main theme of Princess T. isn't truly revealed until later in the series. Everything, though, revolves around stories. At the beginning of each episode you are told a story with the famous "once upon a time..." opening. If you pay close attention it will make sense by the end of the episode. As in old storybooks, the main character is named only by what she is. (Ahiru=duck). Princess T. really makes you remember all those wonderful old stories from back when you believed in fairy tales, and allows you to look at them with a deeper insight.

One thing I noticed my second time through about this series is that its like a castle. Depending on what levels you have access to, the more you get out of your visit. When watching the anime, if you have knowledge of ballet you'll probably get allot more of the references. Same thing goes for the story stuff. If you are a literary type of person (like myself) you'll be able to connect more with what the characters are going through and all the little interpretations embedded in the plot.

Don't worry though. Princess T. isn't just a beautiful drama. It actually is also a comedy. You won't get drained on intensities while you have Ahiru as your spunky little ducky of a main character. Also, how can ballet not be amusing when you have a cat as your sensei who sometimes comes across as a pedophile. (haha. I kid) Its all good here.
Anyway, I really do love this series. I laughed, I swooned, I sighed. It's a beautiful story and a work of art.

Comparison: The manga came out about a year after the anime and is only two volumes long. I have not read it nor do I really want to but I did do my homework for this one. The manga has the basic same story but more or less focuses more on the ballet theme and leaves out mostly all of the story stuff. So in general I think you can classify it as almost a completely separate series from the anime since its so different in perspective.
Both the anime and the manga have been licensed by ADV films. I do not recommend the dub at all. Believe me. The sub is so much cuter. The anime was subbed by Hikari no Kiseki and A.F.K.

Sample Vid: This is the amv that i believe got Princess Tutu its fanbase. This amv made it popular. It is really really good and makes you want to watch it. Its true there are some spoilers in it but they don't hurt. I personally watched this amv before the series and I didn't enjoy it any less. Again, this amv is awesome. Its one of my all time favorites.

Well turns out I didn't get the halloween review up after all, so sorry. I got caught up in life and watching something else.
