A few things you should know about me and my blog:
Alright. So first off I should let you know that this blog was started when I was in high school. I'm older now. Possibly too old to be doing this anymore...but we won't discuss that!! Never too old for anime!
Secondly, I will warn all of you that when it comes to anime and manga I rarely like dubs and English publications. Luckily, I know a lot of anime fans who prefer to watch/read in English. Though I personally can't stand it, I do make sure to give a comparison at the end of each review. This comes from when I was in high school and still would switch between sub and dub on a series by series basis. So everyone's a winner!
Thirdly, I will most likely be drinking while writing these reviews! Since that is when I am most inspired to work on this blog because I can't think of possibly anything else I would rather be doing. So yeah! Sentences that don't make sense are inevitable! Thank goodness for spellcheck!
Fourth....no forget the numbering!
I go by multiple names. Animeactress is the one I most commonly use. However, I also go by Kairi, kawaii otaku, The Cute Geek, and a few others that the anime community doesn't need to know. So yeah. I started watching anime (conciously) at 13 when the internet was finally getting around to being awesome and before copyright infringement was the biggest pain in the ass!
Favorite anime: (don't make me choose!) probably....Ouran High School Host Club and Angel Beats!
Favorite manga: Kare Kano and Fruits Basket.
Another thing you need to know. While I will watch most any kind of anime, I tend to stay toward the shoujo end when it comes to manga. I find action hard to read. When I read manga I wanna see pretty still shots, mostly involving romance. Come on! I'm a girl! Deal!
